I'm sorry, I haven't monitored the web-site since my last posting.
Today reality hit me very hard. I am in my late thirties and I haven't had much adversity in my life regarding financial, career, family, etc.
However; today reality really hit me hard.
One gentlemen, his name was Raja Pitchai. He had asked me to help him file his I-140 and ask for cross chargeability to his wife's place of birth (singapore). USCIS accepted his package and his 140 got approved in a couple of months. (his priority date; india became available one month later anyways (he was from india eb2).
He was the one of the nicest guys I have talked to. Very courteous fellow.
They couldn't approve his case because he was stuck in name check. Well, his wife called me today and told me that he passed away last week (brain tumor). He had two U.S. citizen children but him and his wife have no relatives here.
She doesn't seem to be interested to stay here (she wouldn't be able to keep the greencard process going anyways because the death of the petitioner is automatic denial). She is leaving USA and was going through all the things she needs to wind up. I don't know if she would have stayed here if she got the greencard and I didn't want to task. Reality really him home today.
I need a couple of days to get over this.
It is very sad to hear this story. Very sorry for him and his family. May god bless his family. When we here this kind of story, in a foreign land where no relatives are there, the life is so pathatic here. The reality is differnt. Hello Sir/Madam,
Recently I have E-Filed for EAD renew and have sent all the supporting documents the following day. But I have recieved an RFE for the photos I haven't sent along with the documents and asked me submit 2 color passport photos. It was my understading that I don't have to send the photos while E-filing since they will be taken at the bio-metric appt. I am done with my bio-metric appt. Do i need to contact USCIS about this or is there any thing you can suggest me.

I filed my I-485 in July last year. My PD is EB2-Feb 2007. I could not file for my wife since she is pursuing her medical residency on a J1 visa with the 2 year HRR requirement.
My queries are as follows:
1. For the interfiling to happen does she need to be done with her J1 waiver or even when she is pursuing it as that is a H1B visa and I will be the principal applicant?
3. If I get my green card before she is done with her waiver then can I still file for her later or will her case then be treated as a family based petition?
I will really appreciate if you can provide some insight regarding the same.

The issue started long before LTTE but it has not stayed static. There were many opportunities to set it correct which LTTE shunned. Again a lot of Tamils joined mainstream in Lanka and LTTE went after them too.

How else is a consulting company supposed to work - if they do not send their consultants to client site? Consulting is not always a one month affair - all IT organizations need long term consulting on permanent basis from subject matter experts. Again I know for sure that this is a misguided memo from some folks in USCIS who has no practical understanding of the complexity of modern IT organizations.

Just fill out the forms and submit them. It is very easy. It took 6 months for me to get the PR in the Socialist Canada. Then it took 1 month for me I should get out of there quickly. Very low pace, not many high level employment, high taxes. I visited a friend there last weekend. In Vancouver, it rains like hell and it is depressing to me. I said, darn, why am I living here? If I am not going to have significant career advancement, I should go back home than staying here enjoying this rain. In Toronto it is cold like hell. Go there and spend a couple of weeks and see if you like it. People are usually friendly there. In the end, it depends on how bad is back home when compared to Canada. Good luck.

It is not good to put fake identity in any forums. The guy (MARPHAD) pointed out have a good civic sense. Here admins are not paid. They have jobs, and not always watching people. This site is for every one. So the members have an obligation to find out the fake, anti immigrants. He may not be anti immigrant, but he have fake identity. That is true. No one knows the impact of outsourcing. Because no public data is available unlike H1b or L1. If american public gets exact data about outsourcing then they will oppose that also and goverment has to act. But there is no legal binding for Government or Corporations to give data about outsourcing. Some time back most manufacturing went silently out of USA and when people started realizing it was too late to act. But relaxing immigration will not prevent outsourcing as everything is based on cost

when will the day come when a lot of us will rush to Delhi.....braving the cold/heat....stand for hours........dancing to tunes of pop singers......while awaiting our beloved PM to show up and take oath of office........just like hundreds of thousands did when obama took office.........

Unfortunately many companies are trying to woo people ignorant of retrogression and how severe retrogression is using these 2003 EB3 labor. As a matter of fact Nov 2002 EB3 labor might be of no use as well. Previously they used to ask for money, now its just the split.
